4I am absolutely in love.
By P. Mclaughlin
My hubby gave this to me as a Christmas present. As far as Keurigs go this one is on par with everything I've read about all of them. The brew strength gets weaker with cup size, but I think any coffee drinker would have called that since you don't get the option to change the amount of grounds in the cup only the amount of water. I have ordered the my k-cups to help with that problem because the 2 things I have learned so far are: 1. I like my coffee strength at the 6oz brew mark. 2. you can brew 2 k-cups at the 6oz mark and get one perfect 12oz cup of coffee (the size of all my coffee mugs). So, for the sake of saving money, I have every intention of using my own grounds and doing just what I mentioned above. It will still take less time than brewing a whole pot and I will be happier yet because it can't get burned in the pot. Plus I have the added bonus of having the k-cup convienence when I want it. It feels like coffee on demand and I have a feeling it will cause me to drink more coffee not less. :) With 2 coffee drinkers in the house I am seriously considering the XL water reservoir that is available. It's not that this doesn't hold a truely sufficient amount of water, I just forsee having to refill it more often than I may like.

5One year old now and still going strong

Love this brewer. Have used many different coffees including refillable filters, and now I'm using the San Francisco Coffee Company pods that fit the Keurig, and saving money. As for not holding much water, well, I use my kitchen faucet sprayer to refill the water. Much easier than detaching the reservoir and taking to the sink.
